UPDATE: TONIGHT’S INTERFAITH PRAYER VIGIL POSTPONED OUT OF ABUNDANCE OF CAUTION
Los Angeles faith and community leaders postponed the candlelight interfaith prayer vigil on the steps of the Los Angeles City Hall originally scheduled for tonight, Sunday, June 8 at 7:00 p.m.
The Archdiocese’s Immigration Task Force, Los Angeles interfaith leaders and community leaders from Proyecto Pastoral, LA Voice, PICO, CHIRLA, CLUE, CARECEN, OneLA-IAF and others continue to call for comprehensive and bipartisan reform of federal immigration policy and join in prayer and reflection to call for nonviolence and stand in solidarity with our immigrant brothers and sisters.
