• READ: THIS SATURDAY | CORPUS CHRISTI MASS & PROCESSION w/ BISHOP BOYEA | “WHY I’LL BE THERE” by ANNA WATSON, STUDENT, MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY: Just four days to go! Bishop Boyea invites you to join him this Saturday, June 21, in Lansing for the Be My Witnesses Corpus Christi Mass & Procession.

Holy Mass is at 10am in the Lugnuts Baseball Stadium followed by a Eucharistic procession through the streets of the state capital concluding at the State Capitol.

But why be there? All this week, as we prepare for the big day, we’ll be sharing the voices of some who have already decided to attend. Today, Anna Watson who is a student at Michigan State University, pictured. Why will she be attending? Anna says:

“The Eucharist to me is the heart of Jesus. His Sacred Heart on display in the monstrance in adoration. His Sacred Heart lifted high during the consecration at Mass. Receiving the Eucharist is an exchange of hearts: His Sacred Heart and mine. An exchange of hearts. A covenant. A profession of Love. His Divinity enters our humanity so that we might become more and more like His Sacred Heart.”
