Please join in praying for Deacon Evans Bongwun-nyuy Yongyee and Deacon Ezekiel Yisi Banla, who were ordained to the transitional diaconate by Bishop James Ruggieri on Saturday, June 21, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland. The two young men were ordained for the Diocese of Kumbo in Cameroon, but are studying for the priesthood under the guidance of the Diocese of Portland. The two dioceses have a close relationship.
