As part of the 2025 Jubilee Year, a Jubilee Mass for Vocations to the Priesthood, Religious Life, and Permanent Diaconate was held this month at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. Father Tyler J. Bandura was the main celebrant, with Father David Slusarick as concelebrant and homilist, Deacon Bill Newhouse assisting, and diocesan seminarians serving at the altar. Following the Mass, the Office for Priestly Vocations hosted a pizza reception which was open to all altar servers, and their families, across the diocese. At the reception, altar servers received a certificate and a gift recognizing their service, and had the opportunity to learn about the priesthood, permanent diaconate, and religious life.
