On Sunday, faithful celebrated the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi). Many Saginaw area parishes had pilgrimages to various locations and met at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption in Saginaw.
Faithful participated in a eucharistic procession, in which a consecrated Host (the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ) was placed in a monstrance and carried by Bishop Gruss.
