A gun buyback event will be held on Saturday, August 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Westside Shopping Center in Southwest Baltimore. The no-questions-asked program aims to improve safety by offering cash for firearms and will run while funds last. The Catholic community has previously raised over $100,000 to remove 646 guns and aid families of homicide victims.
