The weeklong Datev Summer Program culminated with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy (Soorp Badarak) and the graduation ceremony at Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Church in Ridgefield, New Jersey. The celebrant was Rev. Fr. Vahan Kouyoumdjian, one of the Institute’s instructors. A requiem service followed in memory of deceased Datevatsis and benefactors of the Institute.
After the services, students enjoyed a copious luncheon graciously hosted by the Sts. Vartanantz Pastor, V. Rev. Fr. Vache Balekjian, and Board of Trustees, lovingly prepared by the Ladies Guild and sponsored by the ARS Chapters—Agnouni, Armenouhi, and Shakeh.
