Happy Feast of Saint James the Apostle!
St. James was a close friend of Jesus’s, having witnessed important moments like the Transfiguration. He later spread the Christian faith in Spain and was martyred for his faith.
Since the Middle Ages, people have walked great distances to visit his tomb in Compostela, Spain. Last year alone, almost 500,000 pilgrims traveled to Compostela to pray for St. James’ intercession. 🗺️
