Dio MadisonAll are invited to a special Mass with Bishop Hying in honor of St. Margaret of Castello, a patron of people with disabilities, on Sunday, April 27! The day will start with a sensory-friendly Holy Hour at 9:00 am, followed by a sensory-friendly Mass at 10:00 am. A reception will follow the Mass. Please RSVP if you would like to attend by contacting the Apostolate for Persons with Disabilities: 608-821-3050, or [email protected]. Please indicate with your RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies or if you need accommodations.
What does sensory-friendly mean? Softer music, dimmer lighting, and pictorial resources will be used. Families are also encouraged to bring materials that can assist with comfort during the liturgy, such as noise-cancelling headphones, wiggle seats, fidgets, etc. We understand that there are people who may need to move or make sounds throughout the Holy Hour or liturgy. All are welcome!
