• More than 100 people flocked to Christ the King, Abingdon, to hear a presentation about the Shroud of Turin from Catholic scholar and university professor, Dr. Cheryl White, during the parish’s two-night Lenten mission.

During her presentation on the weekend of March 28-29, Dr. White called the shroud the single most studied artifact in the world. The shroud is believed to be the burial cloth of Jesus, and has been studied for centuries.
