Dio HelenaYesterday, Bishop Vetter celebrated the Chrism Mass at the Cathedral of St. Helena. This Mass is a special liturgical celebration held during, or just before, Holy Week where the Bishop consecrates the Sacred Chrism and blesses the other oils used in sacraments throughout the year.
Priests from around the Diocese concelebrated and renewed their priestly promises. Bishop then called on the faithful to pray for their priests and their bishop. After Mass, Bishop met with the priests, and a dedicated group of volunteers prepared the oils to be transported to our parishes across the Diocese.
