A sacred work music debuted at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Greensburg Friday night, designed to open hearts to God’s call to be people who bring hope to our world. More than 500 people attended the Jubilee Concert of Hope, featuring the world premiere of the “Stabat Mater,” a moving new composition by Nancy Galbraith, Professor of Composition at Carnegie Mellon University School of Music. The text of the Stabat Mater, is taken from the text of the traditional hymn, “At The Cross Her Station Keeping”.
