Arch New OrleansThis morning priests of the archdiocese will gather at St. Louis Cathedral with Archbishop Aymond and students from our Catholic schools for the annual Chrism Mass. During this Mass the sacred oils and chrism used in sacramental ministry in every parish for the coming year will be blessed. As a group, the priests will renew the promises they made at our ordination to serve the people God has entrusted to us. This annual Mass is a solemn and sacred celebration each Holy Week.
