The Chrism Mass, one of the most solemn liturgies of the year, brings together clergy, religious, and parishioners from across the diocese to celebrate with their bishop. During the Mass, members of the presbyterate renew their priestly promises, and the bishop consecrates and blesses the oils that will be used in the sacraments during the coming year.
