PRAY: DAY 3 | ROSARY NOVENA FOR THE CONCLAVE: May is the month of Mary. Ave Maria! During these days, Bishop Earl Boyea of Lansing is inviting us to join him in praying the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary to ask that the Holy Spirit informs and inspires the elector cardinals of Church who will gather in conclave within the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel, beginning May 7, to choose a new successor of Saint Peter as Bishop of Rome. Today we pray the Joyful Mysteries which reflect upon the early years of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. They are:
1. The Annunciation (Luke 1:28)
2. The Visitation (Luke 1:41-42)
3. The Birth of Jesus (Luke 2:7)
4. The Presentation (Luke 2:22-23)
5. Finding the Child Jesus in the Temple (Luke 2:46)Concluding prayer:
O Lord, guide the Cardinals as they gather. Send Your Holy Spirit: Grant them wisdom and right judgment, so that they may elect a shepherd after your own Heart, who will please you by his holiness, confirm his brothers in the truth, and tend to your people in love. We ask these blessings in the name of Christ our Lord. Amen.
