PRAY: ROSARY NOVENA FOR THE CONCLAVE | DAY 8: Omnes Cum Petro ad Jesum per Mariam! All with Peter to Jesus through Mary! As we prayerfully accompany those who are charged with electing the next successor of Saint Peter, let us continue to turn in prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, through the recitation of the Most Holy Rosary. Today we recite the five Luminous Mysteries which reflect upon the public life of Christ. They are:
1. The Baptism of Jesus (Matthew 3:16-17)
2. The Wedding Feast at Cana (John 2:5-7)
3. The Proclamation of the Kingdom of God (Matthew 10:7-8)
4. The Transfiguration (Luke 9:29, 35)
5. The Institution of the Eucharist (Luke 22:19-20)Concluding prayer:
O Lord, guide the Cardinals as they gather. Send Your Holy Spirit: Grant them wisdom and right judgment, so that they may elect a shepherd after your own Heart, who will please you by his holiness, confirm his brothers in the truth, and tend to your people in love. We ask these blessings in the name of Christ our Lord. Amen.
