Dio RichmondSt. Matthias is believed to have replaced Judas as one of the 12 apostles. Matthias was one of two men nominated, and after much prayer it was decided that Matthias would be the one added to the eleven apostles.
Though his name is rarely mentioned in the New Testament, the story of his appointment to the apostles is described in Acts 1:21-26. #FeastDay
