On Saturday, nearly 900 faithful gathered for Rescue Michigan, a one-day Gospel revival in Midland, representing 36 local parishes, other Michigan Dioceses and travelers from Kentucky, Minnesota and beyond.
The day included a Eucharistic procession and adoration, praise and worship, presentations by Father John Riccardo and talks and small group discussions exploring these questions:
-Why is there something rather than nothing?
-Why is everything so messed up?
-What, if anything, has God done about it?
-And how do I respond?
The day also served as the official launch of “A Diocese on Mission,” a call for parishioners to become missionary disciples.
The above questions are explored in videos as part of the Rescue Project. You can view the videos here: https://watch.actsxxix.org/therescueproject
