The students at St. Mary’s School, Richmond, made history as the first middle school team to compete in NASA’s Human Exploration Rover Challenge in April.
The team of 22 middle schoolers competed against teams from high schools and colleges from across the world. The team spent months preparing prototypes, proposals, detailed plans, and their rover to compete in the challenges.
