Dio Portland in MaineTo honor the memory and sacrifice of those who have given their lives in service to the country, several parishes plan Memorial Day Masses or prayer services at area cemeteries. In addition to Mass at St. Peter’s Cemetery at 10 a.m., which will be celebrated by Bishop James Ruggieri, Masses will be held at Calvary Cemetery in South Portland, Holy Cross Cemetery in Yarmouth, St. John’s Cemetery in Rumford, and Millinocket Cemetery in Millinocket.
