Today, July 31, we celebrate the Memorial of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. A member of the royal court and military, Saint Ignatius converted to God after being seriously wounded in battle. Founder of the Society of Jesus, he exercised fruitful ministry through his beautiful writings and by training disciples for the greater glory of God. Saint Ignatius inspires us to seek God in all things. Let us always follow his example of spiritual discernment and service. Saint Ignatius, pray for us!
