Please pray for the repose of the soul of Msgr. Michael McGraw, who died Wednesday, July 30, 2025, in the very early hours of the morning.
Msgr. McGraw was ordained for the Diocese of Erie in Pennsylvania and was incardinated into the Diocese of Palm Beach in 2008. He was on our faculty at St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary from 2004–2009, teaching spiritual theology and serving as Dean of Pastoral Formation. In 2009, he was appointed Pastor of St Joan of Arc Catholic Parish in Boca Raton, serving there from 2009 until his retirement in 2022. He served on the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities, the Priestly Life & Ministry Committee, and the Presbyteral Council for the Diocese of Palm Beach. He was also Dean for the Southern Deanery of the Diocese of Palm Beach.
In his time in Boca Raton, Msgr. McGraw received many SVDP seminarians for pastoral assignments and as weekend deacons, and he served as an adjunct spiritual director for a number of our seminarians. He also generously welcomed us for the diaconal ordination each spring. He never stopped loving SVDP!
The Funeral Mass for Msgr. McGraw will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 1:00 PM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church & School, 370 SW 3rd St, Boca Raton, FL 33432.
May Msgr. Michael McGraw rest in the peace of Christ and rise in the glory of the resurrection.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
