This week, the Diocese of Baton Rouge welcomed two new priests of the Indian Missionary Society (IMS) for service in our local church. Pictured with Bishop Duca, from left to right, are Fr. Rajesh Pereira and Fr. Augustine Michael Puthumana. Both presented the Bishop with a shawl, which symbolizes warm hospitality, specifically when welcoming visitors or honoring dignitaries.
