Join us on August 29th at St. John’s Church in Bangor for a Celebration of the Conferral of Papal Honors for Monsignor Jean-Paul Labrie and Monsignor Frank Murray. Mass will be celebrated at 5:30 pm and a reception will follow.
This Conferral is the formal granting of a papal award or title upon an individual for distinguished service to the Catholic Church. The title of monsignor, with the rank of Chaplain to His Holiness, was granted to both by Pope Francis before his passing.
