Our Office of Vocations hosted a hike for men discerning their vocation today. Young men from across Maine met at Bradbury State Park, prayed Morning Prayer together, then hiked to the summit of Mt. Bradbury, where Fr. Erin Donlon and Fr. Divine Fossoh celebrated Mass, with seminarians Nick, Joe, and David as altar servers.
During a water break along the way, Fr. Donlon read a passage from “The Frassati Field Guide: An 8-Day Ascent to Heroic Virtue,” encouraging the men to strive for sainthood.
After the hike, they prayed Midday Prayer and enjoyed lunch together. Special thanks to The Knights of Columbus Council 106, who generously provided the food.
