Tomorrow, August 15th, is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. On this day, we honor the moment when Mary was taken into heaven, body and soul, at the end of her earthly life.
August 15 is a holy day of obligation and a time to reflect on Mary’s role in salvation history and the hope her Assumption offers to all of us.
