This week, papal theologian Fr. Wojciech Giertych visited the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland, concelebrating Mass with Bishop James Ruggieri. Fr. Giertych also offered a special lecture on the Eucharist. He has served as Theologian of the Papal Household since 2005 during the pontificates of Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis and currently lives in the Vatican. He specializes in moral theology and virtue theology.
