It is with a heavy heart that I call upon all faithful of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston to pray for the innocent lives lost and those who are in immense pain as a result of an unthinkable attack on Annunciation Catholic Church and School during their back-to-school Mass this morning.
As always, we turn to God the Father, who sees us all as His beloved children.
As a Catholic family, we pray for the precious souls of the children who died and call upon the intercession of Mary to comfort and heal all of the victims. – Bishop Mark E. Brennan
