“Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted” (Luke: 14:11).
In the Gospel passage of the Twenty Second Sunday in Ordinary Time reminds us how Jesus taught that the Kingdom of God isn’t about climbing for recognition or surrounding ourselves with people who can benefit us. Instead, it’s about humility and opening our lives to those we often overlook.
Reflection: Who in my life do I tend to pass by, perhaps because they have nothing to give me in return?
