On Sept. 13, men and boys from across the diocese are invited to walk in pilgrimage from St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd to St. Francis Xavier Chapel at Crow Wing State Park. This route honors the patriarch of the Diocese of Duluth, Msgr. Joseph Buh, who in November 1864 joined the Mission of Fr. Francis Pierz in Crow Wing. Msgr.
