Following his visit to St. Augustine High School, Coadjutor Archbishop Checchio and Archbishop Aymond visited St Catherine of Siena School in Metairie. There, Cadjutor Archbishop Checchio visited Nashville Dominican Sister Anna Margaret’s 2nd grade classroom before being greeted by the 1st through 7th grade students in the gym. He had the opportunity to speak to the students about the importance of the Sacraments, prayer, and Catholic education. The students then sang him a song, “Our God is an Awesome God” before crowding in for a photo op!
