Oct. 16 – St. Hedwig & St. Margaret Mary Alacoque:
St. Hedwig, a duchess who used her royal status to serve the poor, showed that holiness can flourish amid wealth and power when the heart belongs to God.
St. Margaret Mary revealed the burning love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, teaching us that even if we feel we are unworthy of God’s love, He loves us deeply. So do not lose sight of His Passion and mercy.
