Parishes across the Archdiocese of Chicago will join Catholics worldwide in celebrating World Mission Sunday on Oct. 19. The annual event highlights the Church’s global mission and supports communities of faith in 1,124 mission territories around the world. All parishes in the archdiocese will take up the World Mission Sunday collection during Masses on Oct. 18-19.
