“We have earnestly prayed for so very long for the legal vindication of the right to life from conception until natural death… and we pray with perseverance and confidence that in God’s good time, He will hear this prayer.”
— Archbishop Emeritus Allen VigneronOn October 18, as part of Respect Life Month, Archbishop Emeritus Vigneron celebrated Holy Mass for Giving Thanks to God for the Gift of Human Life at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Detroit.
The celebration began with a rosary in the cathedral’s side chapel, petitioning Our Lady to place the protection of life under her care. After Mass, attendees toured an ICU Mobile Ultrasound Vehicle, one of many Archdiocesan initiatives honoring and protecting the dignity of all human life.
This annual Mass witnesses to the Sanctity of Life from conception to natural death, calling us to be a People of Life, celebrating and safeguarding the dignity of every person at every stage of life. 🤍🕊️
