In celebration of the Feast Day of St. John Paul II, which is October 22, St. John Paul II Parish is holding 40 Hours Devotion at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 150 Black Point Road in Scarborough. 40 Hours Devotion involves 40 consecutive hours of prayer with the Blessed Sacrament exposed on the altar for eucharistic adoration. The 40 Hours devotion began at 5 p.m. on the feast day and will conclude with morning prayer followed by Benediction on Friday, October 24. All are welcome to participate.
