On October 25, more than 400 community members gathered at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Brownstown Township to celebrate Día de los Muertos, a beautiful day of prayer, remembrance, and cultural tradition.
Families honored their loved ones through music, dance, and the ofrenda, a vibrant altar adorned with photos and keepsakes symbolizing the unity of the Church on earth, in purgatory, and in heaven. A special Mass and moments of quiet prayer offered space to reflect on God’s mercy and the hope of eternal life in Christ.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined this year’s celebration, helping to preserve a meaningful tradition that unites faith, family, and culture in remembrance of those we hold close in our hearts. 🕯️💐
