Last evening, at the Donor Appreciation Dinner at the Aqua Turf Club, Archbishop Christopher Coyne and Reverend Jeffrey Romans proudly presented checks on behalf of the donors to the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal to: Shaun Heffernan from Camp Rising Sun, Jason Jakubowski from Connecticut Foodshare, and Sister Maureen Weiss and Sister Regina Tamayo from the Little Sisters of the Poor – St. Joseph’s Residence for the Elderly in Enfield.
These gifts were made possible through the Appeal’s Vicariate Outreach Program — the generosity of donors to this year’s Appeal.
During the evening, Archbishop Coyne offered an exciting challenge: If we exceed our Archdiocesan goal of $10 million (and we’re very close!), he will double the donations given to these three organizations for this year!
