Today, November 13, we celebrate the memorial of Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini, whose life of loving compassion led her from Italy to America to found the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and establish 67 schools, hospitals, orphanages, and shelters for immigrants. Her example teaches us to see Christ in every person we meet. May her missionary zeal and love for the vulnerable inspire us to welcome and lift up the stranger today. Mother Cabrini, pray for us!
