Catholic Campus Ministry at West Liberty is hoping fans will make a difference!
Deacon Jacob Manning, who works with the WLU Catholic Campus Ministry, is hoping all those attending athletic events at the college this weekend will bring non perishable items to stock the shelves of the university’s on site food pantry.
Donation boxes will be at the gates for the following events:
• Friday, Nov. 14: WLU Basketball Games
• Saturday, Nov. 15: WLU vs. Wheeling Football Game
• Saturday, Nov. 15: WLU Basketball GamesFans who donate will be entered to win one of five WLU prize baskets.
Donations can also be made directly to the Food Pantry through its Amazon Wish List, allowing items to be shipped straight to campus. Whether it is your parish pantry, Catholic Charities of WV food drives, or food pantries on or connected to our universities’ campuses – be mindful of the needs of our neighbors and help as much as you can.
