In his latest column, “Light and Shadow,” Archbishop Henning reminds us that every generation must confront its own blindness to injustice. Referring to the historic Basilica of the Assumption in Baltimore, he recalls how light was central to its design, and yet, even in that cathedral of light, shadows of human suffering remained.
The Archbishop invites us to let God’s light transform our hearts, banishing the shadows of prejudice, selfishness, and division through prayer and reconciliation.
