• On this Thirty-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time, the Church calls us to reflect on the coming of the Lord and the need to persevere in the faith. In the Gospel, Jesus warns us that trials will come, but promises that those who remain faithful will be saved. As we approach the end of the liturgical year, these readings call us to stay vigilant, remain steadfast in faith, and trust in God’s providence, even in the midst of challenges.
