• Some wonderful news from the Schoenstatt Sisters–they have just started their own Jubilee celebration and the Diocese of Madison has a site where the faithful can receive a special Jubilee indulgence!

The Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary are celebrating their 100th anniversary, and the Holy Father has granted a plenary indulgence that is attached to all shrines, churches, and chapels under the care of their community, including the shrine at Schoenstatt Heights in Madison and the chapel in the sisters’ house (both at 5901 Cottage Grove Road). Anyone who visits these sites can gain the indulgence from now until November 4, 2026; the conditions for gaining the indulgence include receiving Holy Communion, making a sacramental confession (within a few days of visiting one of their shrines), praying for the intentions of the Pope (their indulgence decree specifies praying an Our Father, the Creed, and an invocation to the Blessed Mother as Queen of Peace and Mother of Mercy), and performing a work of penance or charity.
