#throwbackthursday: between Grants and Albuquerque, on the south side of the Interstate, you can see a beautiful old church standing tall along the middle of a Mesa. This is Santa Maria de Acoma, built in 1933, one of several missions that serve Acoma and Laguna Pueblos. There is often a special Mass and procession held on the first Sunday in May for the Feast day.
