WV began the day bright and early – AND oh yes… WITH POPE LEO XIV at the National Catholic Youth Conference.
Teens from around the country are asking the Holy Father RIGHT NOW via live zoom questions about real life and REAL FAITH!His message has been honest, sincere, and genuine as he listened attentively as he emphasized they should listen prayerfully to one another so Jesus walks with us!
“Unite together with the whole Church. The Church needs all of us – YOU! YOU ARE THE PRESENT. YOUR VOICES – YOUR PRESENCE MATTERS. BE ACTIVE. SAY YES TO CHURCH OPPORTUNITIES!”
He added:
“You can look at Jesus and the Blessed Sacrament and He looks at you with love look for those little spaces of time to be with Him little by little. Give your problems to Jesus we need to do again and again each morning we can invite him to be with us. Through the day, each night, talk to him about your day!
“And remember also the mother of Jesus? She’s our mother tell her what you’re going through and know she prays for us.”“REMEMBER WE WEREN’T MADE FOR COMFORT- WE WERE MADE FOR GREATNESS!”
