Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church in Woodville celebrated its parish Thanksgiving Dinner for its religious education youth on Nov. 19. They had worked to collect food and funds to support the local Caring is Sharing food bank and presented them to Diane Robbins that evening. Caring is Sharing was started by Our Lady of the Pines about 40 years ago, but it has now grown to be a separate not-for-profit organization supported by many churches and members of the community. They provide food and utility help for 900 families. What a beautiful way for the youth to see how they can help others in the community. The beautiful evening also included the youth leading a prayer of thanksgiving and singing.
