For the third year, Sacred Heart in Glyndon provided about 40 complete Thanksgiving meals to the families of homicide victims, served by the Baltimore Police Department and Roberta’s House. The care packages also had an added special touch: a gift card from the parishioners so they could purchase the ingredients for that special Thanksgiving dish that is part of their family’s tradition. The meals included a turkey, pumpkin pie with whipped cream, rolls, potatoes, butter and vegetables.
