Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal – November 27
November 27 is the Feast of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, commemorating the 1830 apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Saint Catherine Laboure in Paris. During the vision, Mary revealed the design for the medal, which was later named the Miraculous Medal after numerous graces and miracles were associated with those who wore it.
The medal was originally called the “Medal of the Immaculate Conception”.
“O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee”.
