Local healthcare workers blanketed with prayer
DELRAY BEACH | A White Mass, dedicated to those working in health care, was celebrated Nov. 15 at St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Delray Beach, with the pastor, Father Dennis Gonzales, who was trained and worked as a nurse, presiding.
The liturgy, which was also a healing Mass including anointing with holy oil, was sponsored by the Palm Beach Physicians Guild of the Catholic Medical Association, which was formed in 2016 as a forum for fellowship and guidance on complex biomedical and workplace issues.
