Jesse Tree Day 3 || God renews his covenant with Noah, the last “righteous man.”
God sent the flood to cleanse the earth of wickedness but chose Noah to re-establish life on earth for both humans and animals. God chose Noah because of his “righteousness,” because he kept the laws of God. The covenant between Noah and God is fulfilled in Jesus. While in the ark, God provided protection and nourishment to Noah — today, he provides us with protection and nourishment through the Church.
