TOMORROW WE RELEASE OUR 300TH ISSUE!
What began as a lifeline in the early days of a national emergency—when churches were closed and we were all searching for connection—has grown into a weekly companion for thousands across the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston.
As Bishop Mark Brennan promised in that inaugural edition, “We pledge to you to do our very best to provide you spiritual resources and the assurance of our prayers.” That promise still guides every issue we create.
Back then the e-bulletin reached about 8,000 Catholics. Today, more than 15,000 faithful open FaithInWV in their email each week.
The publication was named after the #FaithInWV profile features showcased on our FaithInWV.org website and published in The Catholic Spirit.
Like its namesake, the e-bulletin gives hope, helps us focus on our faith, and encourages each of us to lead by the example. Shared weekly on the diocesan website (https://dwc.org) and our social media (Facebook and Instagram) pages, your FaithInWV brings creative Catholic Content to you to reflect on and share with your friends, family, and followers.
Whether it’s photos and feature stories from across the state, national and international stories with WV faithful’s insight, or snippets of saints and holy lives written to inspire our lives today, FaithInWV is written and designed especially with you in mind.
Serving as both a worship aid and a tool for evangelization, FaithInWV invites us to recognize the good around us and to share Christ’s light—even in moments of challenge or uncertainty.
